Thein Soe – the initiative person of SCOPE (the Network of Myanmar Freelancers) expressed that he is very proud of receiving the “Certification of Appreciation” from IHE Delft and Water Bridge Myanmar.
This certification is issued for his valuable contribution to the “Preparatory Course for Students in Conducting Research in Water Management” from August, 2022 to December, 2022.
He said that this was the great milestone of his learning-and-sharing journey as a freelance trainer. He also hopes that the participants – new-blooded Myanmar Young Water Professions – could grab new concepts for conducting research in water sector from his sharing topics, although his lectures were based on his previous limited experiences. He also sincerely acknowledged WBM to give the opportunity of collaboration and IHE Delft for supporting advanced learning platform.

During the international-level program, he conducted two specific lecture topics; Introduction to Research Proposal and Data Analysis in Research Studies, and a case study on Change Detection in Reiver Morphology by GIS and Remote Sensing. He also took Evaluator responsibility to qualify the individual assignments on research proposal.
